September 2022 - Pakistan Relief with ShelterBox
Pakistan Distastes Relief - ShelterBox has a huge amount of experience supporting communities affected by flooding. Having responded to flooding at least 75 times since 2000, providing emergency aid and support to tens of thousands of families around the globe.
August 2022 - Dementia Friendly Swansea
People with dementia get by with a little help from their friends and anybody can become a Dementia Friend. It’s just about understanding a bit more about dementia and the small things you can do to help people with the condition.
July 2022 - The Wildlife Trusts
For more than a century they have been saving wildlife and wild places, increasing people’s awareness and understanding of the natural world, and deepening people’s relationship with it.
June 2022 - National Autistic Society
The aim is to help Swansea become an autism friendly city. Breaking down the barriers and making our city accessible and accepting to all. By everyone working together NAS believe that this goal is more than achievable.
May 2022 - City of Sanctuary
Back in February we welcomed the Swansea branch of City of Sanctuary to Hoogah as we pledged our support, while raising awareness of the Show Your Heart Campaign ran by Together With Refugees. Now throughout May we will be raising funds through our Charity of The Month Pizza and Cocktail.
April 2022 - Llys Nini
Situated in Penllergaer, Llys Nini houses dogs, cats and small pets such as rabbits and ferrets.
We’ll be hosting a sponsored dog walk on Monday the 2nd of May to raise more funds as well as introducing our Pizza and Cocktail of the month!
March 2022 - Endometriosis UK
Endometriosis can have a significant impact on a person's life in a number of ways, we’d like to raise awareness through supporting Endometriosis UK throughout March.
In the UK, around 1.5 million women and those assigned female at birth are currently living with the condition, regardless of race or ethnicity. Endometriosis can affect you from puberty to menopause, although the impact may be felt for life.
February 2022 - Labour Behind The Label
Labour Behind the Label campaigns for garment workers’ rights worldwide. Supporting garment workers’ efforts to improve their working conditions and change the fashion industry for the better.
January 2022 - Barod
A person’s misuse of drugs or alcohol can have a devastating effect on their family and friends, services otherwise not available are offered through Barod which can offer support and advice to loved ones.
November 2021 - The Birth Partner Project
Providing volunteer birth partners to ensure women who want support, can access it.
September 2021 - Papyrus
Papyrus exist to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives by shattering the stigma around suicide.
August 2021 - Maggie’s Cancer Centre
Raising money for Maggie’s Cancer Centre Swansea throughout August for our Charity Of The Month.
July 2021 - Sea Shepherds
Our charity of the month for July is Sea Shepherds and their operation clean waves tying in to Plastic Free July and raising awareness.
